Old habits die hard.

Moving back has been a nice change for my life, but I've found that I still fall into the same bad habits no matter the environs.  So, I have started making a list. What am I going to learn about this town that I don't already know? Good sushi has to be at the top.  But also, where are good places to hike? I have to get to Findlay Market. I've never been there, so tomorrow looks like it might be the day.  I have to explore. I promised myself that I would find a new life in this new place for a new me.  Damn is that so hard? It has been but I'm not going there, I can't.

As for personal crap...same issues apply. I'm here to start anew not fall into old traps and habits.  Those people who can't make a positive difference in my life need not apply. Unfortunately I have to put up the big guard because I can't trust myself to make the right decisions and keep the explorer mentality.  There is just something about the comfy knowledge of one person that sticks with me!  I can't trust myself to lead with my head and not my heart.  What is the right thing to do? Heart or head? I guess I feel that when you can feel confident that your heard and head are saying the same thing, then..., then the time is right to let my guard down. Not just because I'm lonely or bored. Right?
